What information is processed?

When you submit a public website address, our server processes the domain to perform a website availability check. We temporarily cache the individual check result for approximately 45 seconds. Public domain names, the latest response category and check time may also appear in our recent activity feed for up to 24 hours. The feed does not include visitor IP addresses, and temporary storage may be cleared earlier by the hosting provider. Our server uses your network IP address to apply basic abuse-prevention limits; for this purpose it stores a salted hash rather than your raw IP address. Temporary rate-limit and cache files are periodically cleared. The hosting provider may independently retain server access and security logs.

How the check works

The tool connects from our web server to the public domain you provide and retrieves its HTTP response code and timing information. The hostname being checked is sent to DNS infrastructure and contacted as part of that request. We do not intentionally store or inspect page content or submit account credentials.

Cookies and advertising

This starter version does not include Google AdSense, analytics trackers, or advertising cookies. Before activating ads, the site owner must update this policy to name the relevant service providers, explain the applicable legal bases and retention practices, and introduce an appropriate consent management solution where required.

You can use the site without an account. Do not enter sensitive or confidential website addresses. To ask about privacy or request applicable rights, contact the website owner (contact email to be added before public launch).
